Ideally it should be a member from the USA as Canada residents must pay import taxes. Collecting the payment, purchasing, packing the items, filling custom forms and shipping requires time and labor. As mentioned earlier in this thread, anybody willing to do this work should be compensated with transformers or VFETs.
Due to my limited available time I will not be able to do that work. Also, as a California resident, where Jensen is also located, we would have to pay 9% sales tax if the transformers were shipped to me.
The idea of a discount code, as mentioned earlier, could also work. In that case we could allow Jensen to hold the orders and only honor the code after a certain quantity is reached within a given time frame.
There is already enough interest in transformers to obtain a good discount, we can think about moving this group buy forward now.

Could be possible speak directly with secretary about potentialy 76 transformers we want buy like one group from diyAudio but shipping and his cost be regulated individualy after reception of zip code and confirmed shipping price for each destination from Jensen to diyer home members of GB list.
Can some one from US or Canada please have moment to phone company and

One week ago I sent a letter to Teresa Delgado on representation of the group inspired of coarse with the SH's idea for get a discount for a big quantity but the shipping rates charged to anyone that get the transformers. Also we can mass transfer the payment and after that they take a "business" for 82 transformers in one commercial operation. Some week ago I realize the Grimberg's point of view. To many hands and only one responsible in US or Canada, shipping the stuff around the world. Is a hard work.
