Any comments on the Furutech FI-03 IEC outlet with fuse included ?
IMO the Furutech FI-03 IEC inlet with fuse-holder is indeed a better choice than the Furutech FI-09/FI-10 IEC (no fuse), if the case architecture allow for it
(less holes, less wires, shorter connections, less component to source etc.). Would get my vote.
Of course we need the case engineer to give us the OK to make it a real candidate.
Cheers,
Nic

P.S. Did anybody care to figure out what the difference between the FI-09 and FI-10 inlets is? The price (and quality?) is very different and I'm wondering which one Nikon got a quote for.

Looking at the furutech datasheets:
FI-10 Brass conductor
FI-09 Copper conductor
FI-03 Copper alloy conductor
Interestingly, the copper alloy FI-03, which contains an integrated fuse holder, is less expensive than the brass FI-10. Looks like the best deal of the three if price is a consideration.
