Pfm 1047 ( big brother revisited )
Hi There,
here is my very last realization :
2 X 3 watts
Ultimate quality output transformers
Only two resistors and no capacitors in the signal path.
Separated batteries power supply.
Amazing simplicity
Transfixing musicality
Gorgeous on Fostex TWEETERS

Hi,
everything is on the pics'
On your home site you mention your designs as protos
I take it we are looking at a planned commercial product ?

A very intriguing design. I guess the transformer provides the gain and the MOSFETs (?) buffer the signal. I have seen a schematic of something like this before. The quality of those transformers will be absolutely critical to the sound of the amplifier, which ones did you use? Is this amplifier only suitable for tweeters? I guess the output impedance is too high for many bass applications.
I suppose your batteries connect with the IEC inlet, be careful who connects this amplifier up or it could be catastrophic!

Dear Sir,
this amp is fitted with bipolar tansistor ( 2SD1047 ). It don't use any
Mosfet ! Output transformers are from ACEA ( a french company
specialiazed in audio transformers ).
And YES he can drive loudspeakers ( sensitivity at least 96 db 1W 1m ).
Amazing

Your creations are so beautyfull, it makes me wanna quit doing electronics, since I will never reach this level.
However - I think your standard is dropping if you compare with your previous work.
I found that the insulating pad is not straight ( see picture)

It reminds me a bit of the old Kudelski Nagra... it's different... but well done
