Finally the CSX-1 VFET mono blocks are all done... I love how they look AND how they sound!
Thanks Papa! Love to build a bigger (turbo) version of them, in time

Wow Walter, you sure build them fast. It seems only a short while ago that I saw pics of your F5TV3.
Did you build this chassis yourself too? Could you tell me where you got the feet from?
How about some pics of the inside.
And give us your listening impressions compared to the F5TV3.
Once again congrats on a great job and for sharing with us.

The look very very, good. Are the cases a custom job by Modushop.biz?
Just a thought, maybe black Neutrik NLJ2MD (or similair) with countersunk black allen heads might make a nice addition and give it even more of an proffesional look.
Thanks all
@ Stijn001: no Modushop, I designed and made them myself, with panels I ordered from Front panel express. Cause sadly I don't have access to CNC
@ overtheairbroadcast: in post 2788 is a link for the topless
It's actually not a link.

pass f5t integrated
first thanks for this great forum and all of you for beeing part of it.
i like to show you my pass f5t integrated amp that i finished this week.
i used:
f5t pcb/kit from fetaudio
thosiba mosfet from tech-diy
kendeil caps 4*50v 68000uf
hammond transformer 2*24v 750va
solen coils
vishay cfm55-142 resistors
elma 04a2r00 step attenuator
yulong d18 dac
sigma 11 power supply
heatsinkusa heatsink (10.08 x 16 inch)
allega alluminium plates
the idea was building a amp around a olive one media player, having all in one
case. i used a es9018 dac because it sound very well with my cabasse iroise
loudspeakers. the sigma 11 power supply replaced the noisy olive one power
brick. biased at 1.5 a the amp rise 27 celsius above ambient after 2 1/2 hours
at a hot summer day, weight 31 kg, oak finish with airflow tunnel between
wood and punched alluminium plates.
