what are those wire hold downs and where did you get them?
What wire? Red/black and blue/black?
I use a soft-start similar to Tortello design, so I send the signal from output amp to soft-start and them from here to TRS.
Sorry for my poor English.
Thanks dady.
Ok in the PSU have a pair wire for a led (in the on/off button) and a wire from IEC to this botton. In the Amp. This wire conect the rcas with the pot.
I don't know if i need change something. Psu and Amp haven't earth ground and I'm thinking add a loop breaker for safety.

Thought I'd share a pic of my cap stash. 33000uF 25V BC components, roughly 1.4F in total. 6922EH for scale.
Twelve lucky caps will soon be smoothing ripples in a new headphone amp build, a sneak preview of which is in the second pic

Hi! I got a bunch of Apple G5 processors with heat sinks and I am using these. It looks like I can get away without fans. The Lundahl 1527 measures nicer than the Jensen's specs in the datasheet. Once it is set up completely with the actual power supply I will measure frequency response anyways and I'll try to remember posting them.

Here's a couple of images of my bread board Zen V8, no feed back, mono block (there are two). I've been listening to them for about a year now lime this. Just haven't had time to upgrade the parts and build a chassis.
The little heat sink is for the JFET and the big one is for the MOSFET. Wood block isolates them because I didn't use insulators, only thermal grease. Notice the switching power supply. With a CLC filter and star ground, I was able to quiet the buzzy ripple enough so that I have to put my ear a couple of inches away from the speaker to hear it.
