My Apollogies for posting here - I have relisted this over at the correct forum - The "Instruments & Amps forum" - (This was my first posting and unaware of the correct proceedure at the time and not sure how to delete it from here) - Yes all built from scratch to the original manufacturers schematic of the 5F6A Bassman , but my own cabinet design specs - more info if needed over at the 'Correct Forum' - I am aware of the proceedure now and shan't post any more here - once again my apollogies ....

Buffer with ecc88 - slightly modified Super Linear Cathode Follower (thx to Allen Wright), relay volume control based on Farmtech design (ATmega32), full remote control and other things... Sound is outstanding.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Is that Dr. Who inspired by any chance? My uPower (380mW) 1920s tube based power amp plays well with the 98db efficient Beyma 12" coaxials.

a very professional job !
Parallel 6BL7, EL34, both amps built with the same transformers:

I'm stoked. I have finally finished my first amp. I've been listening to music all weekend. My regular stereo has been a Fisher 400, nothing to throw rocks at, but this is the cleanest clearest amp I've ever heard. I will have to get used to all my music sounding different now. My next project will be a phono preamp to go with it. I hope it doesn't take as long for me to build as this did.
