Thanks Multiman
Is a pushpull, I could't imagine. Best Regards and congratulations.
811A circuit as i built it. original Power supply circuit uses mercury vapour rectifiers I considered the Mv rectifiers would make the amp too big.
I used big toriodals and a bridge circuit; Choke input as you need very good regulation as you do with screen drive using EL509's as Zero bias triodes. I think best to use two heater supplies, so you can measure the current draw using two 10 ohm resistors to earth. Very important to have a slow turn on; protects the 6BL7's as the 811's /572b's heat up very fast, compared to the 6BL7's.
You could use sweep tubes instead of 811's, but when i tried them did not like the sound, at least with 811/572's you can use 70 ma current draw. 600 volts is the max with 811A's, less with 811's. 600 volts gives you 100 watts.
i have never tried using Mosfets instead of the 6BL7's as 6Bl7's are cheap and trouble free.

hello ,
Here is my 1 er ampli ...
I like your style

Here is my latest creation.
25WPC triode strapped KT120 push pull amplifier.
Input/drivers are Mullard ECC81(12AT7)
There is no phase inverter as the amp accepts only balanced inputs.
It was inspired by the Leben CS1000P.

Dynaco Mark VI & AR SP3A
Big ugly brutes but I love them. I listen to them almost every night when the wires are quiet. They now have a 12AT7 input tube and a 12AU7 LTP with KT88 outputs. I just upgraded to EC 100uf film power supply caps. And the old Audio Research with Curcio's mods.

Just thought,
I would put this in here for posterity
RH84 EF86 driving EL84. The internal photo has the temp fusing for the B+ when on first test. (Now removed and fitted to the back plate.)
Just some photos through the build.
I was going to strip the amp module and try others in the chassis, it looks like its staying..
The EF86 limiting values are just for fun.

hello ,
Here is my ampli proto make with elements of recycling, his audio power makes 2 x 4,5 watts under 8 ohms, its price list is of - of 60 euros entirely, his twin soon goes is made in upgrad version (system stand 19 " and 300 V = HT).
That this will be put back in a casket alu / drink of more impressive size.

. I do like wood, thanks for the interest. Metal chassis seem a bit cold.
