I built this 6V6 for a friend who is a Hunter Thompson fan, so I decided to add a bit of Steadman inspired paint on the PS cover.
Nice!

Very nice! I particularly love that selection for the front piece of wood. Looks like Maple, one of my favorites!
Stereo amp with 4 tubes 6FD7, but 6DR7 works fine also.
Push-Pull output, long tail phase splitter, 2 inputs, and 2x~6W at outputs.
Very, very creative use of interior space and metalwork...
Do You know this cool tube?
Did You try it?

Hi Zal...... I've 4 pcs EL152 and have been desperately seeking out for a schematic for years.
Can you help or anyone out there?
Thanks!
Zekk
Hi Zekk! Sorry, but i have a friend who built a SE amplifier with EL153. Here: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/tubes-valves/226554-telefunken-el153-se-circuity.html
Both EL152 and EL153 are derivated from LS50/GU50. Maybe helps.
Hi asterkao! No, this is a PP amplifier with a cathodyne phase splitter. Some details: Ua +420V, Ug2 +350V, Raa 3,5k, no NFB and a 300W power transformer.Cool EL156!
Tri-pole SE ?

Yeah.. I wish there was a rule that said photos in the photo section need to be uploaded to the forum. Those links to external sites NEVER stay working for long. There are many ruined threads by the fact the poster used external image hosting, so now they're all broken links.
I don't know...picture is public, I checked. Is there someone that doesn't see the picture?Sorry, I can't see it, and I refuse to sign in to Google just for the privilege. They know too much already.
Weird. The link worked on my Nexus tablet, but not on my PC. No idea why.Shows up fine for me. Looks like you only need to sign in or create an account to post a comment.
See my thread "new otl project"
No recent activity. ..... someone else should build one of these !!!
Nice, interesting industrial design. Why should someone else build one though?
