I put the circuit into LTSpice and ran a sim to check the RIAA error. I my limited experience it looks quite good. Not up to my HPA5.1 standard but I have seen much worse -
I am not surprised as the RIAA is the same as in this link:
GoodSoundClub - Romy the Cat's Site - EAR 834P Modification Guide>
Or this one in attached pict.
There are differences in the PS though.

Ironically the Chinese copy-cats made the same fault as Tim de Paravicini.
The tubes are starving from current resulting in harsh sound.

I corrected that and had also a look at Jim Hagerman's Cornet 3.
Cornet3 - MM Vacuum Tube Phono Preamp – Hagerman Audio Labs
My phonostage sounds very good now!

I totally agree - thieves must be brought to the Justice
I do totally agree, someone should sue Chinese for theft of 40 years old JC-2 schematic but the problem is that Chinese could file a countersuit against all of us for every brick produced since 4400 B.C. in violation of stolen technology invented in Chengtoushan, China during Neolitic Daxi culture.
It's true, because Wiki states so: Look >>HERE<<.
