here we are. schematic and unrouted brd. the size is still 50x60mm so cost did not change.

you'll see that there is the option for a lower FET in TO220 case. the heatsink is smaller but for higher power we can mount the upper FET underneath the board and use a bigger heatsink.

lars do you comment on the schematic. the caps are 6x13mm. an other option is to make the board larger and include also the bias source (and bigger caps if required)

Looks nice, but R1 can´t be used for both channels. Use one for each channel joining at JP2/3.

Keep the size!

R1=470k, C100=1u, R102+P100=1k gives us a theoretical -3dB of 3Hz. If you increase the resistors you can make the cap smaller. But probably there aren´t any physically small enough caps. Think its better to add JP´s and place the caps externally.

Anyway I don´t think the bias source should be included as there are many solutions to that one.

PSO, you can install Q101 and Q201 or (only one choice) Q101* and Q201*. In other words the lower FET can be either a TO92 case or TO220 so those who did not buy the DN2540 in TO92 case during the group buy can use IXTP all over the board.

Sugarn Wait a few more days when the board is more definitive. Holes are 3.3mm (diameter) so M3 is fine.

Hi Gianluca,

I am in for 12 boards. Thanks! CM

PSO,

the coupling cap C100 and C200 will be most probably off board. R1 is optional too if you want to use the board as a VCCS as Lars was explaining. I'll post more updated schematics/board this afternoon if I can draw something during the lunch break.

Sugarn this is the typical heatsink you want to use. There are different heights (for different max dissipated power)

Digi-Key - HS403-ND (Manufacturer - 513002B02500G)

please note that the heatsink must be 0.5" x 1.375" and not bigger. there are many versions that are larger than that. height does not matter.
