Is your AMT able to match the TPL's top end? Don't know. Haven't listened to the TPL.
Last question, in the 250Hz to 1,500Hz band can you let me know what your reference divers are? ie what is the best cone(s) drivers you have compared it to? I have a two-way system so I don't know.
Have you ever compared your AMT with an actively driven Manger ? No.

Actually I can cross higher if I want to, the TDs have a good frequency response towards 1000 Hz.
The AMT drops well above my hearing anyway:
