Something made me think of this odd one today, so I dug it out.

I always liked listnening to this while driving home from work at 2 or 3 AM, singing along at the top of my lungs.

Buck 65 - Talkin' Honky Blues.

Not incredible sound, but a brilliant album. A mixture of hip-hop and country (!) that works almost like a audio novel of down and out American life.

Never heard of Buck 65 before, got this after a review in 'Wire' magazine.

I now look forward to exploring his other recordings...

Eric Clapton, Edge of darkness.

From the Brilliant BBC drama made in the mid 80's.

If you haven't seen find it and set aside a couple of days to watch it. I think from memory it was originally six one hour episodes.
