I have listened to solo Alanis unaccompanied - just voice.
She is very emotionally powerful with a full range voice.
It was quite scary really.
She often makes me feel to be male.

My current audio system is Borbely DC-50 80w monoblocks, BOZ preamp, Shigaclone transport and Audisector NOS DAC.

I´m planning to built F5 and my current speakers are in the low efficients group:

Usually I don´t listen to loud volumes and my listening room are is around 27 square meters.

Could you please inform what speakers are those you mentioned in a back post that are powered by F5.

Hello Babowana,

I have built the Babozen, but a cross country move and a basement finishing has got in the way of really listening to it. I last had my Babozen running at 1A bias/device with a pair of 20VDC 3.5A SMPS laptop power supplies, and sounded quite sweet.

Anyway, I was putzing around the internet the other day and noticed the attached circuit from some French amp site. Almost identical to the Babozen but with Lateral Mosfets - 2SK1058 and 2SK162. Have a look.

I plan on building it to compare the Babozen to it. The 2SK1058/2SJ162 intrigues me, and I have 4 matched pairs...

Are you familiar with this circuit? Have an opinion on how it should sound compared to your BZ?

No, I didn't see it before.
And, I have not used Japanese lateral mosfets quite long time . . .

Now I'm planning to build another power amp with very preliminary schematic. It is also resembling another amp in that site. But, mine is actually a mixture of F5 and F4 . . .
