W.O.W.? I haven't forgotten her voice but I wish I could have :)
She walked that line of porn and performance and slipped over it more than a few times. She belonged in this movie with the rest of them. Exene couldn't sing either but I never got the sense from her that I might get hurt if I made a move on her :)

The person I described in my submission above was Dale Bozzio of Missing persons. Here is the great dance song where those clever lyrics came from. In that song are the warnings of the dystopian society we are now entering via apathy and deteriorating personal communication.

And here is one of the many great live performances this band was known for. Terry can hardly keep himself in his seat. This band never lacked energy and it was infectious :)

Some of the clips of Terry playing with Zappa

Check out some of the work by Bozzio - Levin - Stevens. They cover a wide range of styles from Flamenco to Metal with excellent technique I have both of their albums.

Duende is the cut that I have used to explore the bass resonances in a system, or aptly renamed, "How do you get nearly 50 volts peak to peak, unclipped across an 8 ohm speaker out of a single ended KT88 amp"?

The 'Lovin Rockets' covered this original Fleetwood Mac song and I can sing most of the lyrics but I can't for the life of me remember the name of this song. I do remember it was short and I think it was a question like "so what" or something like that. It was Fleetwood Mac before Buckingham Nicks joined them and I should know this but I'm drawing a blank. I will not google this one so it's all your guys.

Gonna wear no socks and shoes

I didn't wear shoes or socks for most of the 41 years I worked!

Right about the time that song hit the radio, Motorola moved their monthly layoffs to Wednesday. Coincidence? Maybe, but the original black Friday (not the crazy shopping day) became such a normal and predictable occurrence that trouble could be expected. After a few years of Wednesdays, it became a random day.

The music is reversible, but time is not.......Play the record backwards? ...... I have no idea.

Sometime in the mid 70's several religious organizations claimed that rock music, and even some "Christian rock" was littered with subliminal satanic messages. Of course most blanket statements like this can be discarded as noise......

About this time I got a shiny new record, and plopped it on the turntable. The first sounds that came out of the speakers was an obviously backwards male vocal, so I put the Technics in neutral and spun the record backwards, revealing the words.

The music is reversible, but time is not.
Turn back....turn back......

These words were carefully placed on the LP's lead in (where you drop the tone arm) before the first song. Spinning the TT backwards will reveal the words, and if you "don't turn" back by the fourth warning the tone arm will fall off the record!

This is the lead in to ELO's (Electric Light Orchestra) Face The Music album which features an electric chair on the cover. ELO had used backward and speed altered lyrics before (harmless from what I could hear) and there was a religious backlash, so Jeff Lynne fed the flames. Many called this iteration "satanic" so a single version of this song "Fire On High" was released without the backward stuff. I believe that some CD's did not have the backwards voices, but some did. To further feed the "Fire" ELO released an album called Secret Messages which is full of backwards and time altered words, most of which are samples of their own lyrics from this and other albums.
