Sorry to hear that.
I personally had good experience with 6300 product as well as some other diyers. Undiluted one creates rather thick layer and dries (better say thickens) too fast. Diluted does conduct even at really thin layer which has iridescence like soap bubble.

Has anyone tried desco reztore as a diaphragm coating?
Desco - 10415 ANTISTAT, TOPICAL, REZTORE 1 QT

I was just going to buy some Licron spray but spotted this.
Its a lot cheaper than techspray licron.
The bottle claims it is a hard coat formula.

"It is recommended to test the surfaces after applying
to ensure that all insulative areas have been coated.
Desco Industries recommends Reztore™ Surface & Mat
Cleaner to thoroughly clean the surface before applying
Reztore™ Topical Antistat. Reztore™ Topical Antistat
is specifically designed to leave behind an antistatic
as well as static dissipative coating of 109 ohms, to
enhance and provide the static safe properties of the
surface. Testing for either surface resistance point to
point (RTT) or resistance to ground (RTG) will indicate if
the surface is coated properly."

All topical agents are temporary by the definition.
The first substance is humectant i.e. highly hygroscopic holding water on the surface.
The second one is surfactant i.e. adhesion promoter to stick to the surface well.
It's not exactly clear that is leaves hard coating though. Try and see for yourself if the dry residue (if any) stays on film sample. As posted before floor treatment product(s) can do well.
