The BF862 are cascoded and see about 5V Vds. So the rail voltage has little effect on its performance.
Since it is meant for the DAC output, you are unlikely to see more than 4V output swing.
Add another 6V headroom for the J111 to operate properly, you have Joachim's 15V.

The BF862s are mostly under 20mA each. So 40mA will be sufficient for 1 PCB.

Hi All

And after a longer listening my 9023 with Filter buffer is just sounding superb.:)

It just amazes me how good the 9023 can sound for so little £$.and with the buffer added it’s an even better sweeter and punchier sound soooooo.

Can I have another please?:D

Thanks again for the great work and sorry to WK for more Jfet matching and soldering.

Happy New Year everyone!!!

Reading all those positive feedback makes me want one as soon as possible as well :D

Now that the minimum quantity of 50 for the second batch is almost reached, anyone from the second run interested in a GB for the matched inductors and remaining parts?

Stefan

Please help us to help you by copying the list in post #353 and add your details to it.
Including the running total please.

I encourage you to organise your own GB for the other parts including the inductors.
It saves you money, and save us work that we don't particularly need.

Thank you for your interest,
Patrick

Ok, did a bit of spreadsheet fiddling and parts sourcing. ;)
The BOM used is the one from post #301 in this thread and added the 18K7 for V3.1 as well (post #303) so both versions can be build.

Prices are the current ones from Mouser, with some volume discounts a pair of inductors will be 2.70 CHF and the parts kit (containing one pcs extra for all SMD components) will be 2.70 CHF as well.
Shipping prices will depend on weight, so will get this checked later on, but maybe Fran can give me a number to calculate with.

GB Spreadsheet can be found here or in my signature

Stefan

PS: would be nice if Patrick or WK could look over the BOM quickly to double check
