I got my alumina TO-247 washers from Mouser today, so I replaced all the insulators on the amp with alumina and goop. Definitely better heat transfer, as the heat sinks had a textured finish that was likely not a good match for a plain silicone insulator. One channel is burning in with a bench supply, so I can finger test device package temp vs. heat sink. Initial indications are go!.
