Information request for modifying Bose 401s

Not an issue for reliability. Bose has been doing it that way forever.
In my view these two statements are not in the same basket.

In my view reliability comes from the knowledge and quality of the materials, from the knowledge and technology of the tools and from the knowledge, experience and skill of the "worker".

Furthermore please note that I've never questioned the method carried out at an industrial level as I am a great admirer of crimping compared to welding, and I know the merits of industrial wire-wrapping (and crimping) well.
On the other hand, this also doesn't mean that I don't much prefer soldering in most cases.

However, there is little to discuss about my personal preferences as they arise from decades of personal experience, while obviously remaining open to new acquisitions if deemed convincing by my technical mentality.

Anyway, thanks for your appreciated comment.

I have a pneumatic tool that does it instantly.
The OP does not.
Nor the skill and experience necessary to do equally reliable work.
