Distinction-1541

Thanks to everyone that has shown an interest in the board now named "Distinction-1541"

I have been testing the first revision of the board for over a week now and I am very happy with the results. There are just a few things that i have amended for the final run - a few space constraints and also the addition of the DEM circuit shared by the honorable John Brown which I have tested and gives a significant improvement in sound quality. Thank you Mr John Brown.

When I am totally satisfied with the final design I will ask the members to deposit the money into my PayPal account. After 1 week of waiting for payments i will order based on the amount of members that have paid.

Based on the current number of members wishing to purchase the board - the total price will be $17AUD which includes PCB (Electroless nickle/immersion gold, 1.2 mm final thickness for 50ohm ufl impedance matching), Paypal fees, and postage to anywhere in the world, and my time in handling for postage and design.

I hope this cost is not unreasonable, as i have tried to make it fair and cost effective for everyone.

Hi Eldam,

The DIYAudio web site definitely deserves some kind of recognition, so yes if i do actually make a dollar from this group buy i will consider making an undisclosed donation to show my appreciation.
