[Karl Krüger] is also known as the executing company for Hans Eckmiller’s legendary coaxial driver type O15a, which also bears the "Konski & Krüger" sticker on the back and which was used by the German Reichsrundfunkgesellschaft RRG. Eckmiller was also the leading sound engineer for Klangfilm. It is likely that both companies cooperated. Karl Krüger was a technician of early Klangfilm prewar time. He design Klarton, Eurodyn, and other big speakers for Klangfilm. His last design was round speakerhorn used in late Klarton Alnico. Then he worked for Lorenz cinema and made very special amplfiers like Lorenz BN6 BA6 which had seperate power supply. After, he fonded his own factory Kronski & Krüger in Berlin which have been successful for some time in making cinema speaker for Berlin and surrouding. Then he was prisoner of war, then he worked for Eckmiller.
Technical data: Diameter 32cm (12"), voice coil 8,2 Ohms, field coil 2,0 KOhms. For the external excitation of the magnets DC voltage (220 V) is needed. Shipping costs worldwide incl. insurance costs 110 USD. They are very heavy speakers (more than 10 Kg)
