I don't know how we missed "Bernie" before, but we did. And now we haven't. Absolutely delightful, especially for those familiar with Texas archetypes. The people being interviewed were pitch-perfect.

The people being interviewed weren't actors.
"Bernie" is a hard film to categorize.
I wasn't sure what was going on till the end. Must watch again.
 
One that come to mind is "Nobody's fool". I watched it last night..

It stars Paul Numan, Bruce Willis, Jeassica Tandy, Melanie Griffith, Dylan Walsh..
It's not an action movie. Its a fascinating character study with an interesting plot set in the winter in rural upstate NY just across the Hudson river from me..

Sadly, it's "out of print" due to contract/legal issues.
