Fast, fun, Inexpensive OB project

Going for a rougher finish! One down, one to go...
Stand system inspired by the stands of B&O Beovox RL140s, which I am running at the moment

and which I am waiting to get sold so I could afford the famous inductors : --)

Been pretty fun building this, however easy of a project it is, and however novice of a carpenter I am!

ps. Definitely gonna narrow down that front leg... maybe shorten too

Finally, my Peerless woofers have arrived so I can start the build of my own Manzanita 12" version. I have had some trouble with the Vifas because the firm I bougth from has had trouble with their servers. Maybye because of cyber warfare since they are located in Latvia. All good now, will start to cut the MDF board I have stored in my garage for a long time... Pictures will be added further on.

this is the best sound I have ever had at home, and the loudspeakers were 5 times more expensive.

R1 - 5 ohm
R2 - 15 ohm

If they sound as good as they look, I believe you! (y) Nice clean build, very pretty.
Also nice to see a room that isn't all gypsum board walls and tile or concrete floors. Is that stone behind your speakers? The vaulted ceiling has to help, too.

I know what I like about the Manazanitas. What is it about them that you like?

Good day gentleman. After my first build 2 years ago I'm trying to finish a few more Manzanitas, but I have a problem I can't find ERSE Super Q 20 mH 16 AWG 500 W anywhere. Parts express have it backordered since November last year, but it just drags on. Maybe someone knows a retailer that has a few of those left. I'm not in the States but I have family here who can help me with the purchase. Thank you for your time.

"Cabinetry" and the design of the stand almost finished with the so called "Ugl-o-nitas".

Still a bit of painting and filling up the mistakenly sawed hole to do with the left channel.
And of course waiting (painstakingly) patiently for the cross-over components.

Remains to be seen will they even be able to play without resonating and rambling... The wood for the baffle is pretty old Glu-lam that I found in my granddads old warehouse. Seemingly has been used at his construction sites for a number of different jobs.

But if these baffles aint up for playing it just means that my beloved hobby gets to continue!

So far its been absolutely wonderful
Sampo

1. The natural size of the instruments. The double bass is a double bass, not something smaller. The same with the saxophone, etc.
2. The depth of the stage - in combination with the DAC DIY ak4490 and hypex nc502, the stage is not only wide, but depending on the quality of the mastering it can be very very deep.
3. Bass! Real, strong, fast and without room resonances. Perfect.
4. Vocals - Naturalness. This is what I always care about the most.
