DIY progress report

This will be a set of 20 Pioneer Bu20FU20's and a full range on
each side. The full range will be in the middle...

They will do 20Hz, and the bass will be incredibly articulate.....

With a in between, yes.

If I remember correctly, Papa said somewhere that it doesn't have enough swing to drive F4.

I don't currently have plans for a high-swing line stage, so an
F4 would work fine, but wouldn't reach full power. Certainly
there are many other options, maybe a DIY board from
passdiy.

I presume you are using a high pass for the Lowther.

No, I was not using a high-pass on the Lowthers. The small sealed
box covers this for the most part.

The baffle-step can be active or passive. I am at Inverness at the
moment, but when I'm back and have time I plan a write-up on both
filters.

Seems we lost the ALEPH gallery on PassDIY.com when the website
was refreshed... there was a lot of nice work there.

I suppose this was unavoidable, since the Aleph user manuals were
removed some time a go.

I understand the necessity, still a little sad that people have to abuse
Mr. Pass' generosity.
