In case something is rotten, it has to be in Svenskeland, as that's where I've heard them.
They did take a 3rd. place in a loudspeaker design competition though, just not my cup of tea, and even the Mrs. did not like them. It takes quite something before she will announce something like that, when not asked.

seems that Metaldanske finished his amps , just in time for Danske BAF

be warned : 350++ posts of insane off topic , all relating to making pair of most insane monoblock amps I ever saw .
I'm sorta proud to be a part of this act of passion .
Magura,
Your Kung-Fu is very strong...
It will certainly increase your "Carbon Footprint".....
Especially if it lands on your foot!

I would expect that, Brian refers to the material used for quite a big part of the box.
Both top, bottom, and the heat spreader is made of carbon.
But the actual "carbon footprint" will sure increase, as they draw some 220W continuously

220W per mono-block, correct?
Watch your toes!

naah - these are sissy amps ;
220W for stereo

That's not bad at all--a couple of 100 watts light bulbs--easy on the utility bill.
My amp will burn 100 watts with a yield of 10 (clean) watts. It'll go higher, but with distortion.
Good job, Magura! (I like cars )
.....
But who cares, there is a DIY driver in the works, that should solve it

just to bug ya .......
Re-minding ZM
Hmmm, I've come into ownership of some 625 VA dual primary torroids. I might have to do a bit of reading about how much inductance the choke load needs to have I've the lu parts on hand too, and a pair of 4ru cases... This feels like divine co incidence...
Actually, I've quite a few of them, I could parallel them for more inductance? Hmmmm

Thank you Zen Mod. Less indeed.
Do you by chance have any suggestions on minimum inductance for the choke load? I saw the ever amazing Donut thread stated the bloody enormous air coil came in at 90mH, NP discusses various VA's of transformer's he used (300VA and 1.5kVA), and I recall seeing a pair of 1kVA transformers that you had hold of in some thread somewhere. The transformers I have come in at 0.3H or so per primary, so I'm trying to work out if they are suitable.
Now i'd better go back to reading my old textbooks so I don't make that sort of mistake again
