Obviously there is a difference as the unfolding discussion on dam1021 blog just discovered.

Can you please confirm that you can change polarity in dam1121 during playback without power cycling dam1121.

All dam1121 have same firmware so it do works. You just need to figure out what you do wrong....

Well,

I can change filters. Just figured out how simple that is, outside of umanager.

Just turned the computer on again to make sure I had not done something wrong.

I get a response to all four F settings but after I press "enter" after typing in PI or PN there is nothing displayed as there is with the F settings.

Is this how it works with P settings?

Perhaps this is a typo?
You have a DAM 1021 (correct?) and noticed that some things that work on the DAM 1121 do not on the 1021.

Sorry for another stupid post. Sad thing is I went to the SOEKRIS website to make sure I would type the correct number. Went ahead and typed the wrong number, anyway. Too early for cocktails, at least that would be a better excuse.

That would be beyond specs and the over voltage protection diodes might kick in.... And there is no advantage by supplying 6V.
