Funny enough mine are made with BB ply.

I did mention to them many times about doing
fostex cabinets but in the end i bought a finished
pair from ebay for £150.
I could have made them myself as its childplay
but the ebay price was cheaper then making them myself.

With enough demand, i would have thought they would make the Frugeal-Horn designs cabinets as it is good business sense
They do offer a cabinet design service though.

Hmm, I believe it's an exponential one

Not truly. It was assumed that it was expo without investigation.
There are thermal actions/reactions that occur that have an overall change in the math. It was assumed that there was no insulation or re-direction effect of the heat and that there was no re-direction of the heat transfer.

In any solid object that has a higher thermal energy than a lower one the transfer of energy will occur to the lower. As the lower energy rises it re-radiates the energy back to the original emmiter. This causes a dynamic exchange between the two that over time becomes an equal (ambient) energy level.

This makes the curve lumpy as the energy transfer is not a constant curve. Its all about mass absorbation and radiation.
