Ok, I signed up, It was the most difficult sign up I’ve ever did, and it doesn’t want to take my email address, it says I must type a valid address.

How can I make 250V DC turn into 250V AC and possibly sine wave output?
I’m thinking of using 4 x IRF840B to swap the DC to AC and I’m using an oscillator 555 timer wont work so well, so I’m going to try to use a SN7400 IC it flip-flop with 2 positive signals and the 555 timer IC give you positive and negative signal if I’m right.
And if anyone know of any other better parts top use, you welcome to tell me
EDIT: Ok, I've got an update, I’m thinking of using the
CD4047 // MULTIVIBRATOR MONO/AST DIP14
It’s easier to use and probably cheaper not sure if it’s available in the shop.
And what will happen if my 250V DC goes to 280V DC and then my AC will also go to 280V AC are ther any way of make it fixed to 250V AC with a variable DC input?

pinkmouse said:250V DC will not give you 250V AC. Google RMS.
Well, you’re probably right then the frequency is 50~60Hz but what about 17 kHz ?

Hi mjraudio
You're kidding, surely?
cheers
John
Also, can bridge rectifiers be used for AC-to-DC conversion?
You're kidding, surely?
cheers
