naah
part of US is still having that nice THD spectra , not being so damn clean
post that asc file (#91) here , to save me inputing
I'll start a new thread to preserve this one.
Not necessarily.
Very true. Misnomers are everywhere
Sounds like Papa has jumped in his time machine again and stole my Super Asymmetry circuit, and called it Super Symmetry just to cover his tracks.
Bloody bastard. Hahahahaha
It will need to be added by a separate preamp then, which isn't a problem I suppose.
A truly symmetrical circuit cannot have 2nd harmonic as it is cancelled, otherwise calling it symmetrical is a misnomer.
- nope
-Ultrasymmetrical is phrase made in Papa's usual way (as Jacco would say : "Sucker !" )

I just stick with, it sounds good
Me too, but I now know exactly what sounds good to me, and know how to achieve it.

Then you are set. Just saying many roads lead to Rome
Yes but I'm also always tinkering and trying to learn new things.
There's always more to learn, and new ideas never stop, so I'm never content till I've run out of dumb ideas.
This one would be very suitable for your friend vdi nenna
Like the symmetry. Nice looking circuit. I'll built it if theres a board.
Has anyone used or have an opinion on Vishay HFA50PA60C soft recovery diodes http://www.vishay.com/docs/94074/vs-hfa50pa.pdf ?
I have a stack of them so may as well put them to use. I'm thinking of paralleling them up Pass Labs Style.
