Yes, I heard what I thought was cone breakup when the bottom clamshell was powered even at low volumes.
Right now I just have the bottom driver powered.
It's very nice to finally hear bass notes on my system. But it's not enough.
Today I'll rig up the second sub using the already assembled clamshell pictured earlier and power just the bottom driver so at least there will be 2 subs with similar active config's.
We used a big tablesaw with a big blade and a sliding table (?) to cut the 12” PVC tube i have. It took 2 passes and a bit of sanding.
