3 8" drivers will deliver 28hz in a proper box without MASSIVE size.
if this is intended for PA use, I can see it. Home use is dumb
A 1" driver can hit 1Hz. Really quietly.
3x 8" drivers can hit 20Hz at PA levels, but you'll need a really really big horn to do it.

An amazing outpouring of negatively,
from the posters In this thread.
Also,
I was looking @ these a while back.
They are available with a variety of motor options.
At various prices .
Like, retail Amazon.com: DS18 TM-SN32 Troublemaker 32-Inch Neodymium 20,000 Watts 1-Ohm Subwoofer: Cell Phones & Accessories
For those with the cash,
A pair for 1100, seems like a fair price.

What in the world do you think you will actually get from your Alibaba supplier? Something that measures 32" across? Likely! Something that will work well as a subwoofer in any volume cabinet? NOT likely!
Bigger is not better once you get to about 18-21" driver size.
Don't waste your money!

16KW/120V=~133A.
The driver would only draw that much current if it had an impedance of about 0.9 Ohms.
Have you ever done that, or something similar? DP_woofer_room
No but the next step, the double bass array for a friend. Sound was excellent, clean, precise and even over a large part of the room but he had to tear it down again because of lack of WAF - she couldn't imagine it before.

You missed the fact that a pair of the 32 inch drivers you linked to are over $13000 USD a pair, quite a difference from the $1100 you referenced which is for an 18 inch driver also listed on that page for some reason.
Really think he is going to get a decent pair of 32 inch drivers for about a grand?
I paid $1K for a pair of 16 inch Iconic 165s more than 12 years ago.
A touch of realism is needed here.
Yes, DBA seems like the ultimate solution. How extensive was it over the wall(s)?
Practically the whole room except the area where the wall was open to the next room (no door there).

DS18® - 32" TroubleMaker Series 20000W 1-Ohm QVC SubwooferDS18® TM-SN32 - 32" TroubleMaker Series 20000W... $6,649.05 more details on - DS18(R) TM-SN32 - 32" TroubleMaker Series 20000W 1-Ohm QVC Subwoofer
At least this thing has a big magnet and alot of xmax Xmax - 54mm. It needs 650oz of neodynium to get there.
Still for $6500 you could get ten 21 inch woofers and handily beat this for SPL at assorted frequencies.

It is good to have bass that is balanced and reaches cleanly up the spectrum, and to walk around the room and hear the same relaxing balance. Everyone sitting around the room hears the same thing.Have you ever done that, or something similar? DP_woofer_room
