This SMPS is a COPY of QSC PL380 Amplifier

wo, EE71 and 110kHz and full bridge for 5kw, so expensive.upload our 5kw smps pics here. EE55/20 core, half bridge,90kHz. rated continous power.IGBT perfect.

I just would like to make a small correction, that 5KW SMPS is a CLONE (COPY) of QSC. PL380 SMPS. :p

already it was clear from long time here, inspect pictures POST #110
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/class-d/115300-qsc-pl380-amp-11.html

Its very good, and too fast also to copy a SMPS rather than spending money over research. best thing in life.

Good luck into the easy going 5KW SMPS

Also its completely clear from components layout, exact copy

Oh! it is ourselves technology ,more power type have finished years ago,10kW for power source which measuring electric meter.

QSC circuit good ,if add more circuits, amp will more stable.

Update , here is the datasheet from the mosfet i had used
http://www.st.com/internet/com/TECHNICAL_RESOURCES/TECHNICAL_LITERATURE/DATASHEET/CD00003147.pdf
two of them in paralel , Qrr~4uC that means 8uC , that's not too much , fs of the transformer 110Khz , this wekend I will power up at 320v don't have yet a PFC , hope it will not blow, because the feedback it's not yet ready i will change the duty cycle from a pot .load some 2kw light.

That MOSFET is used in commercial SMPS I have fixed long time ago, 700W and it blew up for no reason, i fixed 5 SMPS units during last year. same problem, MOSFETs

I tried it into my 1KW SMPS, it blew at 1KW load, even temperature was 70C.
IGBTs in same SMPS 1300W loaded, IGBT hits 100C with small heat sink , NO FAN. and no blow up. very stable

I think that's a poor MOSFET for such application

Goo Luck
