Just confirming that this is the final and working layout for the NX14? I have plenty of IRFP250's lying around at home that I can use. Always an issue getting the output transistors where I stay, and this is perfect for me.

Despite not being a MOSFET, it seems it can handle a lower maximum current than IRF540N, for instance. But we need an engineer to clarify things.

A complete aside, but the first semiconductor devices made from SiC were detectors for early radio sets in the 1900's - its taken a long time for any other semiconductor applications for it since!!
