You have to do a lot of research, then take a leap of faith. Even if someone else has used the driver and says yay or nay, does that mean in your application it won't be correct. Case in point: BMS. the 18sound seems to have many advanced features.

Like no bass and plenty of the midbass
You would be better off with the Beyma Studio 12B100/R ... revised version with rubber surrround ... and at least get some of the low bass
But it needs a bigger box/BR ... 75/100 liter ... F3, 40/36hz
Or you might get away with smaller closed with some EQ
