“I’d Rather Go Blind” …originally popularized by Etta James

Knocks me over every time I hear it.

“Whole Lotta Love” Zeppelin cover

Growing up listening to Zeppelin made me want to dismiss this…I’ve got some issues with the instrumental portion of the recording…and nothing compares to hearing Beth live in concert. She just tears it to pieces.

Dylan liked Hendrix' cover so much he used his arrangement as a tribute; perhaps no-one suggested the Hendrix earlier as it's so good you take it for granted?!
You would have to put his 'Like a Rolling Stone' from Monterey up there too, even if he missed a verse. Jimi's Winterland version - with full lyrics - is also pretty good but lacks the swagger of Monterey. He also covered Tears of Rage, Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window and The Drifter's Escape.

Juhazi - almost anything by Eva is a treasure. The acoustic set of Tall Trees in Georgia (not popular enough to be a “cover” I guess, but a delightful tribute to her folks), Fields of Gold, and Autumn Leaves from Live at Blues Alley never fail to give me goosebumps. Ain’t No Sunshine and Time After Time, Over the Rainbow.
Gee, if I’m starting to sound like an unrepentant fanboy, I guess ya caught me.
Jacqui Naylor; Summertime, Losing My Religion, Ain’t No Sunshine, Time After Time, Me & Mr Jones, Black Coffee, Miss You.
Very interesting when you leave your iPhone to play in default alphabetical order by song title and you get to chase the same tune by such a pair of talent deconstructionist interpreters as Eva and Jacqui.

I don't know ... I've never heard her in concert, and can't comment on her other work, but her cover of 'Whole Lotta Love' made me wince and hit mute.
