Nothing to do with taste, its the lack of consideration in uploading a 3000X2000 picture so that even when processed you have to scroll around on most monitors to read the text with it. Given then number of people who use phones to check on the forum that is just not thinking before clicking. Takes no time to resize something so its small enough to not annoy people.
Well... Some could consider it is a problem with the competencies of the forum's administrators. So easy to write the code in order no user could broke the template with any images size, or the loading speed with any image weight.
So you are offering to fix this problem for free as its sooooo easy? Or do you in fact not understand how tricky this is.
FYI Joe did not upload the picture but linked to it, which then becomes a browser specific render unless you do some server side intercept. If he had in fact followed forum best practice of uploading then there would not have been a problem. But I guess you though it was easier enough to insult the people who work tirelessly and often for free to keep this forum running than do a view source?

Yes, despite my railing (no pun intended) about THX pursuing patents on prior art, the implementation of that amp is impressive. It is said that some THX engineers did the power supply, and that is interesting. The Benchmark guy clearly knows what he is doing, but is sharing credit.
The kinds of things that can foul up that sort of performance include missing truly tiny details of grounding and shielding and routing. I'd like to know how many revisions the boards went through before production.
It is of course possible for an active circuit to assist in system performance by reducing loading on source components (including the much-vaunted Ap System Two) and thereby seemingly be better than the proverbial straight wire. But it is rare.
FT remarked to me that the subjective reviewer had to have some reservations about the sound "thereby protecting his job".
Amps only sound the 'same' with DB tests like SY insists on. On open listening, even the prettiest amp, even with magnificent measurements, can often sound just a touch 'off'. It is the reviewer's job to note this.
At the same time, some of the worst measuring amps, that are still made with the best approach that the designers could find, can sound wonderful, at least a good part of the time. Go figure! That is MY challenge. What is going on? I am deadly serious about this, and most of my audio associates are as well. We can't all be crazy or stupid, or misguided like some of you here think.

Honesty. That's tough in your market space, but nonetheless would be refreshing.
Systems can sound "off" too.
This weekend I (secretly) ran my filter device on the multicore of the local Fleetwood Mac concert.
I was able to run (sighted) A/B comparison and the differences were not subtle.
The change was from typical 'mechanical' and forced PA sound to flowing, dynamic, fat and wonderfully musical....."go figure" lol ?....I'm still rotflmao !.
