Post your Solid State pics here

I share your problem, progress on my basement-hobby amplifier projects is woefully slow! But you are busy because your business is doing well - that's a good thing :)

Since this is a thread for pictures, here's my half-complete Class A amplifier!

Plenty of advices to listen ..
@OS
For some reason you think that trussing the guts of the broken Technics is a waste ?? Please explain ...
@OS I wouldn't trust a CFP at 70+70 volts with one or two pairs of the Sanken with out safety measures like Vi limiter or something like that even worst when its bootstrap

With boards ready made from previous project it really works quick
Trafo is around 400W bank is 4X15.000 ...

Nice ! Kind of like what I did to my Nikko (First Badger).
I just meant to use the trafo - it's a good one. Not to be wasted.

Fast driver (2sa1837/2sc4793) with 2sa1295/2sc3264 outputs would
make a killer 60v+ CFP....probe the pair to figure local compensation.
Good as an EF2 , easier vbe.

Working ....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4KC0HBqwqxA&feature=youtu.be
For this version except the huge power supply of 400W i am testing an extremely very fast Vas with another compensation method ...
More info at the thread in a few days
At OS original Technics trafo and some IC will remain in the shop as 2nd hand spare parts expected to be used soon

Kind regards
Sakis
