You know why you're doing it so swallow that pill. What would the pub be without you Albert?
That would be Sir Albert to my Scottish friends....

I happen to notice that our hockey teams are both doing well. I was a little pissed that your ****heads beat mine a few days back but was happy at the same time knowing that one of the pub members got a win out of it.

I have noticed that the Nashville boyz are doing pretty good this year - perhaps I will be able to watch a game without spitting vulgar phrases about the room (which I did do for the last two years)... Lord knows that the local football team isn't worth the effort....

I need exercise, don't walk without a good reason - don't have dogs anymore and as I don't go drinking nowadays I can drive everywhere.

Also because I still have my old clubs, + 3 sets of my Father's (he was a top amateur ….. before you were born!). and several sets left behind by a top amp designer.

Just thought it might succeed in getting Jacco back on line!

I thought that it might be more along the lines of the attached photo....

Jacco in this Pub on a Friday??? I suspect that he is chasing midgets wearing latex for the next couple of days..... :D:D:D

My mother always advised me that if you go to Canada, don't eat the yellow snow and that the beer is worse….it stunts your growth.

The only growth it stunts is that of the little man, but that's the same in every country, yes?
We have a huge quantity of craft brewers here so I hardly have to drink another country's beer. Except for Pilsner Urquell that is. Every once in a while I have to suck a couple bottles just to remind what a beer, made with ditch water, highly hopped to hide the stink, tastes like. I think it's the wonderful aroma of the farming field run off that adds that special kick I am looking for.

There's no mountain spring water beer that can compare with that special earthiness.

Wouldn't it be nice to be young again.. and asian? (or in JA's case Miscellaenous)

Actually, I should confess, that much of the beer I drink is DIY. Done right, aka starting with malted grain and using your choice of hops and using CO2 for the bubbles, running it in kegs and through a fridge tap causes many drinking problems. Mostly the "too much" variety.

I've done it 3 ways over the years. Diner style tap soda machine with the 'malt extract in a can' type beer then moving on from there :)
