If I remeber correctly they will go between pins 9-10 and 8-5, with the cap polarity the same as shown in the outline of C1 and C2.

Consider Mauro Penasa's design using an LM3886 driven by an LM318. It is documented in this thread:

6L6. May I ask how you found the sound compared to PASS LABS Amps? Would it be an exponential step up in terms of the sound quality? If so, which amp would you recommend?

Yes, it is most certainly a huge increase in sound quality.

I'm very partial to the Aleph J and the BA-3.

Aleph J is in stock, as is F5. BA-3 front-end is out of stock, BA- complementary output stage with bias board is in stock.

The power supply and chassis (with universal mounting spec) can be common to all the Pass designs. Buy one PSU and Chassis, and then it's easy to swp amplifier stages in and out. Try F5, Aleph J, F4, BA-1,2,3 . It actually is that simple.

+1 for the Aleph J, I have several chip builds Dual mono 3886, Rev C, rev C premium, the Aleph J is much better, the F5 is also much better and both are easy builds.

Maybe - I only have one channel's worth of Mosfets for the SE... But that's not that big of a deal. The Complimentary sounds so fantastically good I kinda wonder if the SE could be as good.

Only way to find out is to build it.

Eh. The MyRef, as nice as it is, still sounds like a chipamp. It's very difficult to get away from the sonic signature of those chips.
