sorry, is this correct layout for the 10,000uf caps?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
Is there any other chip that is "better" in sound quality? (mind you, the LM3875 is already great)..
Consider Mauro Penasa's design using an LM3886 driven by an LM318. It is documented in this thread:

You will find different implementations discussed in several threads as MyRef.
thanks for the quick reply
DIY Audio seem to be out of PCBs at the moment. Is there any place I can order them? ideally in UK?

Aleph J is in stock, as is F5. BA-3 front-end is out of stock, BA- complementary output stage with bias board is in stock.
The power supply and chassis (with universal mounting spec) can be common to all the Pass designs. Buy one PSU and Chassis, and then it's easy to swp amplifier stages in and out. Try F5, Aleph J, F4, BA-1,2,3 . It actually is that simple.

I have a set of BA-3 boards that I am not likely to use. (gain stage board, plus pair of single-ended output and bias boards). Please PM if interested.

Not yet. I'm working on it. It's a bit more complicated than the rest. I would actually suggest to you the Aleph J.
Are you including both output stage options in the guide?
Interesting, that apart from pass labs recommendation we have nothing else? I mean lm3875 sound good, surely we are only getting started right?
