Hi -
All the mini kits are on hold while I replenish the 2SK117GR stash. Weeding out the OK revision ones and forwarding on one's that are not to people who need to replace theirs.
There are a few boards left, but kits will be a couple of weeks.

Thanks Tea-bag,
When the kits will be available I would like to have 1 PCB and 1 of each type of kit.
You should have my email :)
Regards,
Enrico

Maybe he is trying to burn some voltage out of existing transformer with higher voltage?

He is inquiring to pre-reg a DCB1 is my guess. But why so many electronics in line, I don't think its productive. Secondary interaction potential. A passive pre-filter cell could fare better. And it can be calculated for any excess voltage burn also.

What value L?

Any you may find among a range of available chokes in your budget frame that has as much parasitic resistance for as much voltage you need to drop. 7-10VDC Vin to DCB1 reg higher than its 10VDC output must be left. Find a free utility named Duncan PSUD2 and simulate all your parameters. For load use your DCB1 current setting. For possible further questions on this matter, better continue in the DCB1 thread. Its too long a specialized discussion for the GB thread.

Hey TeaBag,

Just wondering where I find the current GB or next GB speadsheet and current minikit costs please?

Chuz,

Drew.

Hi Drew,
I need approval from Salas to start next GB. But I can sign you up for tentative list, which I have already started.

The Minikits cost will increase. The 2SK117GR transistors now became somewhat depleted and have tripled in cost across multiple vendors. I am certain that plenty exist for our needs, but supply is dwindling and costs will start looking more like they do for 2SK170's.
