How to compare them sound wise.

I prefer SR200
CFA symetrical amps like AX17 are popular in last time, is there anybody made and test this pcb design made by 'alexmm'?
Isn't +/-50Vdc to hi for one pair 2SC5200/2SA1943? I could eventuelly test a little bit later with +/35Vdc if it doesn't need big changes in value. Is the bottom layer available?

AX17 can work with +/-35V rail voltage without changes, +/-50V is only for 8R speakers. I think 'alexmm' send pdf file with bottom layer but I don't know post number.

Here post #1201 but no bottom layout.

Symmetric Amplifier, I also wait for the copper lines , Mr. Mile: How to Power Voltage Maximal this? if I use a 4 Ohm speaker?
Use +/-40V DC rail voltage. John Bali made this PCB design for AX17, only 100uF/16V must be replace with 1000uF/16V.

why not use the R13 on the schematic that created trimpot as Mr. Alex?

Yes trimpot must be use for DC offset.

are you pointing to C6 which is 100uf/16volts sir?

Yes, C6 in AX17 without DC servo must be 1000uF/16V or 2200uF/16V.

thanks for the reply sir!

that's why I feel more speed (& more detail) compare to AX14
About the layout...
Please don't use that one, there are mistakes on that one. See post #1140

.zip file attached for AX14 & AX17
picture from post #1019
and I need to update the file, if someone want to etch it I will made a new cleaner layout in pdf. Different output device make the sound a bit different, the toshiba feel warmer & the sanken seems faster and flat.
Also with sanken output it not so hot with 100mA bias
(I guess we can go 200mA bias on them)
Hi mas Daman, why not use the R13 on the schematic that created trimpot as Mr. Alex?
you can use without trimpot if all you can match the input pair.
With matched parts we can make very low offset, so in my layout no need trimpot but I will add the trimpot & update for the layout.
Next I will share AX14, AX17, & AX20 in pdf with new look(same layout)
With corrected silk

No need DC servo for simple amplifier like AX14, I ask like that before... See:
Instead, build SR200 or other SR series
Hi Apex,
I want to add DC servo like your DC Servo MOSFET Amplifier
on this AX-series
that is only use single OP such LF411 or TL071
Is that possible with AX17 & AX14 also?
Regards
No need to add dc servo, this is simple amps with small offset (under 10mV without seting and meatching transistors).
I suggest go to Studio Reference amps with dc servo.

Thanks for this answer and suggestion, nice symetric pcb design.
