Dx Blame ST together Dx Super A

BJT matching and power supply

Hello Carlos!

Before concluding my SA DX I have a small question about the transistors of the input stage (see picture). Is it better to pair (matching) them or what is not necessary?
Then I think to use the power of DX (two mono blocks), it can go?

Yes. Dx Supply can be used

Match the upper ones only... if not matched you gonna have a little off set voltage (DC in the output).

It is normal to have from 1 to 25 milivolts off set there...so, do not worry and be happy.

Welcome to the Corporation dear Project.

I am suggesting other options of transistors to be used...mainly to Brazilians

because down here people loves to buy in local shops in the place to buy from the internet.....so, the most easily found transistors are derated to be included if they want to do this way.

A video gonna be made..but will take some time before i publish... in advance you can have some images.

regards,

Carlos

TIP35C sand TIP36C are very popular here

I do think these are the ones people will use here.

Amplifier was tested (already) using these transistors....but was not a destructive testing...was made within the limits studied.

Clipped waveform to 10 percent is the worst case scenario..and we must study the sittuation under this point of view.

Please, do not worry about the AG at the transistor end part number...these are the ones i have in my simulator, but the real transistor is TIP35C.

regards,

Carlos

Now, as promissed, the Brazilian layout to the Dx Super A

This was made to provide to Brazilians...but, of course, you can have it ....also Zimmer will provide pcboards and kits of parts.

Search his adress in this same thread because was already published.

I do not accept orders...this is not my stuff..go to Zimmer.

Here you have all files together.... Dx Supply and Dx Super A:

Output power transistor options.... the ones can be used

the reduction of the supply voltage needed...the derated wattage considering 70 degrées celsius (worst case scenario) and simulations was made at 10 percent of distortion.... SOA was considered.

So, images will show you safe use for these transistors, not only because you will not use them at 70 degrées celsius but also because i hope you will not listen at 10 percent distortion (worst case)

Hello guys

if you guys wandering why I lock all the videos I have or you guys don't know here is a link : Dx Super A is compromice an have to lock all my videos - YouTube

Some one from China was trying to log in into my YouTube account I change the password today I have to force myself to stay away from You Tube too much Piracy  ! I rather keep at least Super A safe, I'm not going let them steal it.

I really didn't like it that much that someone from other place is trying to steal hard work ideas and concepts, I have to force myself to close my YouTube videos because of that, so is actually true there are professional hackers that can get your stuff, I have all my projects outside my PC, sometimes I work on something after done I disconnect the device "USB" because they can "scanned you main drivers" those hackers "Chingiling" , well today I was just making a draft concept ideas for better say, remember is just a draft ... ;) for revision only for ideas.

Muy hermoso su dibujo...very pretty your layout

Thank you dear Juan

This is the traditional low pass filter you find in technicall books...this one was found in Ampletos (Video Rockola) and i have made modifications into the filters, sensitivity, slope and output level to match my amplifier.

Here you can see the original:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHLnb8hOJhA

This is not my design...well...this is in the internet offered in thousand sites...this belongs to mankind.

I have sold an exclusive design to Mitchel, an amplifier for Bass... 250 watts and 0.001% THD.... Mitchel will design a variable slope low pass filter and will offer in his site (to Brazilians) a kit for them to build an amplified subwoofer speaker... Dx Semprini is the name..but all rights about schematic belongs to him.

He replaced the SMPS supply of my scope and i have paid them offering this new amplifier for his use.

Carlos

Thank you Carlos ! :D I have to try is not a really expensive project, the TL071 is really cheap, plus I have must of the components need it to put it together I made a few grid hot iron files so tomorrow I will get some print outs. Note: I'm going to test it out then I will described what can happen later .

Yes that is true :D , hey Carlos I'm getting better at etching boards the problems is that the printed format is way to small still, I have to adjusted to no less than 120% or 130% maximum size, about the hydrogen peroxide works really good after is mix with the muriatic acid, but is tricky for me, iron time, time in the etching solution etc. Maybe someone that is reading this would like to share better tips, at least this one works great for me, I was trying to get the real etching solution but they do not ship to Puerto Rico I have check many websites "same story" so ( muriatic acid and hydrogen peroxide ) goody :D other than that is nice
that at least able to do it. the image is just and example. have fun guys like I do and Carlos too :p

Laminating machine is far better than iron for toner transfer

....I suggest to use laminating machine than iron, result is much better specially in the small tracks, using the machine with max heat, toner are well pressed and tracks are transfered balance upon pilling off the paper, well tested for me and the result works well and satisfied.

Regards,

I got tired and irritated when i do the iron and they all end up to trash

But when i tested the laminating machine i stick on that method and have all my project rework.
As long as the copper is well cleaned, nothing to worries , i usually do 20-30 times back and forth on the laminating machine to insure will not miss the smaller tracks other wise will waste the time and repeat the process again, anyway good luck bro.... And Enjoy...

Regards,
