Curvy Chang thread

I have just finished reading through the whole thread (that really took some time :)).

I'd like to ask an subjective question.
Since I don't have much tools (and even less experience in woodworking), I'm having quite a hard time finding a local workshop that's able to cut the curves of the CC sides (pls don't even ask why).

Q: Is the more focused sound of the Curvy Chang that much better than G Chang, to be worth of all the hustle? Should I just go on and build the G Chang?

As a side note, the room is 5.24meter (17.2 feet) x 6.93meter (22.74 feet), 2.6meter (8.5 feet) high, fairly void of clatter. Sitting/listening place is 8 feet from the loudspeakers (which themselves can be distanced 7 feet apart from each other). Listening place --- loudspeakers line is on the short side of the room.
I remember someone (maybe Ron or Scott) saying that listening distance should be around 11-12 feet from the CC, so the listener can be inside the relatively small focus spot.

I guess as less focused model, G Chang is maybe better suited for my room?

P.S. I know that the drivers are discontinued and thus their BVR builds obsolete, but I already have a pair of FE207E drivers waiting for me to find time and make them a suitable home.
