There is no mosfets on SR200
My mistake, I was thinking about HV350 which uses mosfets. BTW, viki_v2 used 2sc2922-2sa1216, will it increase the power capability of the amplifier as well since it is rated @200w per pair? Thanks
No, use buffer preamp from post #177,
I think it's a shame to use such expensive parts and then put a large (electrolytic) capacitor at the output to block DC offset.
Why not try something simpler, like this:

That's much better, but it still needs an output capacitor.
As you also have a 10uF capacitor at the SR100/SR200 input, why not integrate that Pass preamp to it?
Why not eliminate R1, R2, C1 and R3 from the amp, or C101, R104 and R105 from the buffer? That is: leave just one 10uF cap and pick a top quality film type for it.

You can use 'REF' (DC) input ( schematic in post #50)...http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/173462-studio-reference-amplifier-5.html

Indeed, going into REF will bypass all those parts and you only use the buffer output cap. Nice call.

No, with same rail voltage and load amp output power will be same.

Mile,
Today I tested both the amps properly connecting to my floor standers,
Checked both channels Individually for difference, Speaker with Amp having 2sc2922 is giving better performance in comparison to 2sc5200. Even with 2 pairs of transistors it out performs amp with 3 pairs of transistors in bass section at same volumes.

I prefer SanKen, but Toshiba is easy available and I want to share high-end diy amp useing standard parts.
Again I heartily thank you, for sharing such a wonderful design.
Please I ask It Again, What upgrades will make it more better, The resistors I have used are cfr, At least the shopkeeper told me, capacitors are standard nothing to boast about ,this will be a good upgrade If you guide . I am looking to change all the capacitors on amp with Elna And if possible will get Elna Slimic Series..
Psu is having 10,000uf x 4 Nippon Chemicon Capacitors, Very costly Will make it 4700uf x 6 per channel. What do you say about it.
Earlier You said to use Buffer preamp shown in this thread do you have pcb layout for that.
This one for Alex, Do you have any Regulated psu layout for 4700uf x 6 for Sr200.
I have never worked with any pcb software.

I suggest to upgrade your audio with some good CD player and better speakers before upgrade SR200 and made buffer preamp.

You mean to say Preamp is not necessary now.
Speakers are good, don't go on finishing, they are home made, But sound good.
Are you saying about the speakers after seeing the T/s parameter pdf that i had posted.
Right now in India These are the best drivers a diyer can get, Any thing else will have to be imported.
All I need to do is get a better Crossover, I haven't made any yet, Don't know how to.

Mile what is balanced input ,and what difference does it make.
Ok, you must made good crossover for your speakers, and you don't need balanced input for home use, only volume pot for start.
Thank You Alex ,
Waiting for pcb layout to etch boards.
Is psu meant for stereo.
I have seen soft start circuits in forums that are connected to primary, Doesn't soft start work on secondaries, Connections to primary is bit dangerous.
Any pcb for source selection.
I have never seen Potentiometer for source selection don't even know the technical name .
