Sorry to hear that your forthcoming article has taken a Dickensian or Dostoyevskian turn.

Or Tolstoyan. You say "War and Peace", but in the end it's certainly "Anna Karenina" - the finally happy marriage between Kitty and Levin i.e. Lowther and Eminence. :)
My wife Lilly actually permits me to build them, provided I embellish the baffle with posters, photo collages or even with... ivy! :D

Hi,

Nelson, thanks for the info. But...oh...as soon as I find out one thing, something else pops up in mu mind: Since this is first order passive crossover, i guess that the whole speaker (bass+fullrage) is actively equalized before the crossover. Or, let's say it this way: There was a B5, but only its EQ functions are used, and then the crossover can be just a first order passive. Advantage: One amp only, no phase problems...
Regarding SIT's, very good move. Make you own wine, with home grown grapes! Ferrari, no...it's like bying expensive wine from a shop. You drink one bottle, and that's it.

One speaker was the huge open baffle with just the new, lots cheaper SEAS full-range (about $100, not the Exotic) No woofer on this one..

It had side walls, it was not a "monkey coffin" it was "people coffin" sized

The other pic with the interchangeable baffle is the Lowther driver, which is the speaker paired with a 15" woofer. BOB I think
