Good day to all. I would like to have your suggestion, advice and help in setting up my project. Currently I have Konzert K8 which I use to my pair of dual 15” T&T 450W speakers (with 300w crown horn, 1200W total per box, trapezoid box). I’m planning to pair it with two subs (1000W or 1500W) side by side. I’m planning to buy Yamaha P7000s power amp for this subs, Will this amplifier would be able to maximize the power of this subwoofers? I’m planning to get a subzero or EL36 (what is better?). Also kindly advice different brand of power amplifier I can match for the subs. May I also add, does my konzert k8 which driving my current speakers will give the full power of my speakers? (I just used it last new year and I think it sounds well, but not sure if this really enough). Sir I really wanted to set this up in such I can use it in small events (covered court type). Your suggestions and advised is highly appreciated. Thank you very much and more power.

As i check the link you have provided, the Yamaha p7000 only have 700watts in 8 ohms and will not drive the subwoofers having 1000-1500 watts max. It will under power and might cause Speaker burn and Amp Damage.

You should have at least 20% more power than the RMS of the Speaker. You can also choose from many brands and model of power amps (Phonic xp5000, Crell CA20/25, LEXUS, Konzert K10 and others)

For you K8 Amp, It can give a good power to you speakers.
May I ask if you are using a Dividing network (passive crossover) to maintain the minimum impedance which is 4 ohms, if not you should use 1 for each box, because it might cause amp problems in the future.

May i suggest, you use a BY-Amping system, 1 am for you Hi(Tweeters) and 1 amp For you woofers. and 1 Active Cross over.

sorry to butt in but, you could never burn a driver because the amp is underpowered..that is an urban legend.

the physics is just not possible..i.e..how could you possibly burn something with it when its underpowered to begin with.

you could only burn a driver if you push the amp (due to stupid operator) too much and clip it(this happens in any amp with any so called ratings). the dc voltage leak will burn your driver.

yamahas are fine amp imho..with great backing with their products.

Thank you sir for your suggestions. I don't use dividing network for this speakers, sir do you have idea for the prices of the amps you mentioned above? does yamaha also have amp which have 1000W or 1500W at 8 ohms? thank you sir and more power.

Does yamaha have 1000W or 1500W amp at 8 ohms? how about other brand, that is maybe close to yamaha price.

Sir DJ_Jojo-MD, May I know where's the best place to buy jack hammer series or crown dirstributor in Raon?..If not any reccomended place in Manila?

How about your Moving Head lights and LED Par64 Cans any recommendation where to buy?

I'm also interested to replace all my speaker cables which is Red/Black Flat Cords to the Twisted insulated type which I saw in your Live Band setup pictures.

Hi

PraiseLight is the name of the st0re...twisted wire is just a diy AWG #12 aut0mtive wire...th0se r0yal c0rd with twisted wire are fr0m surplus junksh0p just g0t lucky.
