Hi vijay_meyou,

Thanks. Still it will take some time to be completed, as I just have limited time in the weekends.
For the parts like the IR2117, etc., we almost have the complete line of electronic devices here in our place.

Regards and goodluck also to all your projects,

Joel

Hi Apex,

Can you please provide details about the 10uH output coil?
10uHcoil.jpg

= wire gauge
= no. of turns
= coil diameter

? is it wound around the 4R7 2W resistor ?
? for the zobel network, can we use 10R + 0.1uF ?

Thanks,

Joel

hi Joel,

you can use a gage 18 wire wrapped around the 2 watt resistor, a 3 watt carbon composition can be used as well, wind as many turns as you can get onto the body of the resistor...

for the zobel network the 0.1uf cap must have a voltage rating equal or better than the sum of your rail voltages...

Wow, Master Tony! ;)

Thanks sir for the great suggestion. Are you in Russia?

By the way, for the zobel network, what value should I better use? a 4R7 or a 10R? And for the connection, does it make sense if I solder it directly to the speaker terminals rather that on the PCBoard?

Thanks & Regards,

Joel

yes i am....:D

I install the zobels right at the speaker output terminals, you can use anywhere from 2.2 to 10 ohms....the thing is, carbon comps can be used here and if you are palying your amp loud, you better get several 2 watters in parallel if you want those resistors to last....

@ Ees,
Thanks dude. At least you have your own chassis, I still don't have... ;-)
How's your B500, did you get rid of the 15v offset?

Regards
i replaced some trannies...i guess they leaked...its 7am here i guess i'll be done with the amp today...last channel to mount and then its time to burn some speaker coils...:D:D:D:D
i'll post some pics on the thread when i get over with it...:):):):):)
