Hi. Thank you.
I built several 2A3 before, included Loftin White. I built this to try out my hand wound plate choke. plate choke or interstage give different sound character , more dynamic and good soundstage , thats the characteristic of inductive load.

I agree, i have a similar setup yet the 2A3 drives a GM70
The loftin white simply didnt do the job for me as well

Nice looking amplifier. I bet it sounds wonderful. All my amplifiers are ugly.
I did look at your link, it says 0.027mA. I believe you meant 27mA (0.027A), and not 27uA.

Hi, Yes, I love the sound quality .Thanks for pointing out my mistake ,its 27mA , I correct it right way. thanks!
Nice build. Is there any basic measurement data available? Love to see how the diy irons worked in this amplifier.
Hi.
I'm planning to write an article about output transformer winding and also measurement in detail.
Will post on my page soon.

Holy crap. You are a man after my own heart. You are winding chokes and you make your own R2R dac. That is quite impressive. I hope you do more videos and write ups on how exactly you do some of this stuff.
Hi,
I'm making video about output, interstage / choke winding and try to make it as detail as possible. I will upload my R2R video and others too. thanks !

I am subscribed to your channel, and can't wait to see information on your transformer winding adventure.
Plastic clamps on OPT, it seems to me ??
That's not good, from experience.
Indeed!. I'm running out of metal clamp, using nylon cable tie are not the best option. I already apply transformer varnish in between two c core and it stuck together after dried. Also, plastic bobbin are not 100% good for output transformer, I prefer classic paper cardboard hardened by transformer varnish. Some of my transformers are using hardened paper card board, and some are just plastic bobbin.
I already ordered metal clamp material and will replace them once I received. the finished transformer will looks exactly like the one show in video below starts at 3:59.
