Hi I'm the Proud Owner of A MC-100B.
I have had this AMP for 3 years now.
And sin's I got it the Right power Transformer have been humming and gets A little Warmer than the Left.
So I took the metal Shell off.
And then I discovered the right power Transformer runs all the power to the heating of all the tubes.
I was expecting that the left power Transformer was taking Care of the left channel and the right power Transformer was taking care of the right channel.
NOW Is the question can I make A small power supply for the heating of all the tubes.

Each power transformer has a winding to feed the filaments onto the respective channel. The left channel transformer has a wiring that provides the negative voltage for the KT88 lamps, common to both channels.
