Hi,

I am the owner of a set of Quicksilver M135 monoblocks which I purchased used about 10 years ago. I would like to retube them, and I was interested in a thread about substituting Russian tubes -- the 6p3s-e for the EL 34,s.

I am not, however, competent to evaluate whether this would be a good idea on this amp, nor what modification it might entail. If anyone has a suggestion I would appreciate hearing from you. Moreover, if anyone has a recommendation in the Montreal (Qc) area for someone who could work on the amp, please pm me, the amp has some other "issues" that I do not feel competent to repair

Sincerely

John in Montreal
