Dear Df86, the reason why I don't agree on an accidental bootstrap is that, for a bias purpose the 100K resistor would be on the DC path (+B) and not on the signal path like the plates of the output. About timbre and bootstrap, nothing is quite written IMHO. The only thing I know is what I tried and to be honest, I'm not sure about the reason why. Kind regards, Nafty
